There’s not that much help there for people, but The Bridge are there.
It was a nightmare situation. I was pregnant, in one room in a shared house with my 1yr old and my 3yr old who is severely autistic. The Bridge has just been a lifesaver if I’m honest. My Housing Advisor there was so incredibly helpful. He believed our house might be overcrowded. Now we’re settled into our new home.
I feel like I have been trapped in a horrible, toxic circle, because my mental health has been a problem for so long. Then, two years ago, my life changed. A friend introduced me to The Bridge. Now I have a brand new flat, new medication, and I have a new chapter of my life to start afresh. I dread to think what would have happened to me if I hadn’t found this support.
