Farewell to our Chair of the Board of Trustees, Jay Webb.
After 14 years of dedicated service, our Chair of the board of Trustees, Jay Webb, has stepped down from her role. While we are deeply saddened to see her leave, we are profoundly grateful for her extraordinary contribution to The Bridge. She will be dearly missed by everyone across the organisation.

During her tenure, Jay has overseen significant growth and transformation at The Bridge, navigating challenges with unwavering commitment and making a lasting impact on the lives of vulnerable people throughout the East Midlands. She has consistently gone above and beyond, championing our cause and giving generously of her time, energy, and expertise.
Jay has been a source of immense strength and guidance for the charity. A mentor to many, she has provided support in difficult times and has helped shape the organisation into the strong, resilient charity it is today. Thanks to her stewardship, The Bridge is more equipped than ever to prevent and relieve homelessness in our communities.
As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, we are pleased to welcome David Sims as our new Chair, with Halinka Hepworth stepping into the role of Vice Chair. While our leadership team evolves, our mission remains unchanged: to prevent and over come homelessness throughput Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland. With this new chapter, we are focused on expanding our services and supporting even more vulnerable people into safe, secure accommodation.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Jay for her incredible dedication and commitment over the years. Her legacy will continue to inspire us as we move forward.
