We are delighted to announce that The Bridge has been awarded a £40,000 grant by the Garfield Weston Foundation for the second year running!
We’d like to say a huge thank you to the trustees and everyone involved at the Garfield Weston Foundation for their continued support! We are extremely grateful to have the confidence of an organisation committed to investing in work which changes lives, and proud to have earnt their trust for a second year.
This funding comes at a critical time. The cost of living continues to rise which increases the vulnerability of our clients, whilst making fundraising increasingly difficult. It also comes shortly after recent council budget cuts left our Support Lettings service unfunded for the foreseeable future.
Funding like this allows us to spend more time focusing on those who rely on our services, homeless and vulnerably housed people across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland who need our support.
