The Bridge of Voices – Out Now!

We are delighted to release our first edition of The Bridge of Voices, a newspaper broadcasting real stories from those who have experienced homelessness.

For the past few months we have been working on the first edition of a newspaper titled ‘The Bridge of Voices’. We wanted to find a way to broadcast authentic stories and experiences of those who have experienced homelessness.

The first edition comes in the 30th year anniversary of The Bridge, and we also wanted to commemorate the occasion by paying tribute to everyone who has been involved with The Bridge over that time in the newspaper. We would not be where we are today without the staff, trustees, volunteers, donors, partners, and clients who have shaped us into the charity we have become.

You can also find updates from the team, and insights into how a charity operates which will hopefully broaden your understanding of the charity sector as a whole.

We are delighted to say the first edition is printed and working its way across the county into community hubs for you to browse at your will. We hope you can find a copy and learn something from the stories inside!

You can also find a digital copy here: The Bridge of Voices #001.

If you cannot get hold of a copy in your local area, or would like to find out more about the project, which will return for another edition next year, please don’t hesitate to get in touch at businessdevelopment@thebridge-eastmidlands.org.uk.
