Four local boys held a sleepout in support of The Bridge which has raised over £2800 already!
Shivan (9), Shailen (9), Kian (7), and Niam (5) held a sleepout to raise awareness for homelessness and to fundraise for us here at The Bridge. The group share a deep compassion for supporting those in need, always trying to help rough sleepers by offering food or water.
But they wanted to find a way to make a bigger impact, so together they decided to hold a sleepout of their own. Working together, they built a shelter out of cardboard, before braving the elements and spending the night in their makeshift accommodation.
So far, their efforts have raised over £2800 to prevent homelessness across the East Midlands, an incredible achievement! Here at The Bridge, we are truly inspired by their creativity and their determination to make an impact. They are a credit to themselves, their families, and the region as a whole.
No one is too small to make a difference. These boys have shown that all you need to make a difference is a bit of creativity, and the determination to change lives for the better.
Everyone at The Bridge extend their heartfelt thanks to Shivan, Shailen, Kian, and Niam, you should all be immensely proud of yourselves!
